passages
Passages echoes the transient encounters between life and death, past and present, reality and imagination. It embodies a no-man’s land where contrasting worlds converge. Through a fluid interplay of voice, light, visual arts, movement, electronics, and classical music, Passages is a living, evolving performance that embraces its unfinished nature, welcoming new contributors with each iteration and every new location.
Set within museums and galleries, a versatile cast engages in a dialogue between the ephemeral nature of performing arts and the enduring presence of visual arts, where the spectator’s gaze adds the final brushstroke.
The audience is free to wander and find their own space as the performance unfolds in constant interaction with the museum’s artworks, acoustics, and architecture—generating moments of friction, unexpected encounters, and different perspectives with every step.
